Rundbottnad eka

This type of boat has probably been one of the most used both along the coasts and in the lakes. Easy to build and easy to handle with oars, sails and outboarders. In addition, can handle heavy load, often used as a trailer after the ships in the past.

As the name says, it is round in the bottom, no sharp keel, only a small steering keel in the stern. Equipped with a mirror in both the stem and the stern. Most often built of pine with ribs of oak.

Age and origin are unknown.
